Originally from Frankfurt Germany, I am currently a PhD student in International Business in Miami, Florida. Before I settled in Miami, I have taken many detours that have allowed me to meet many different people with distinct cultural backgrounds, to see countries that are very different from the one I grew up in, and to study within distinct educational systems.
After working for a year as a volunteer in Nicaragua, I returned to Germany to study Public Administration. After two years, I interrupted my studies to work as an intern at a disaster relief agency based in Los Angeles. During that year, I was fortunate to work in China, Nicaragua, and the Philippines. I finished my degree in Public Administration in the Netherlands and took off to Miami, where I received a master’s degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and where I am still living today.
