Petya Alabozova
Bulgarian actress Petya Alabozova is a graduate of the Academy of Performing Arts Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg 2015/16. She also studied acting in England at the Hemel Hempstead Performing Arts’ School, and in Paris at ESAD (Ecole Supérieure d’Art Dramatique de la Ville de Paris). Since Juni 2017 she is working in Theater Aachen as a permanent member of the actor’s team.
Eager to question her practice and expand her field of knowledge, she has participated in several workshops, notably with the Italian company Ricci/Forte, with the choreographer Ted Stoffer, with the stage directors Christiane Pohle, Lev Dodin, Viktor Bodó, Eric de Vroedt, Stéphane Brauschweig. In 2010, she also did one year apprenticeship in stage directing, scenography and actor’s directing at the Théâtre de la Colline in Paris.
Petya Alabozova has most recently played Joan of Arc in Theatre Aachen, among many other productions. She also played in the solo performance Auto in LAB, Frankfurt and in Alles in Butter in Mousonturm, Frankfurt, both directed by Milena Wichert and company. She also performs in several TV and Film productions in France and in Germany, recently in “Die verlorene Tochter” – a ZDF serial.
She speaks Bulgarian, French, English, German and Italian fluently.
