Pelumi Fadare
Pelumi Fadare is a polyglot who speaks 9 languages. Born in Nigeria and raised in Spain. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting and a Master’s in Business Management. She has a vested interest in International Affairs, focusing on Trade and International Development and Cooperation. She is a young professional at the Spanish Embassy in Belgium. Her work also includes being part of the co-design team for INGO CIVICUS youth Action Lab for grassroot activists and research consultant for Plan International in the field of Shrinking Civic Spaces for youth. She is a Youth Representative at the European Youth Hearings 2018 and a Youth Delegate at the Many Languages, One World Youth Forum for the United Nations Academic Impact 2014.
She is an active member of different organizations, including Global Changers at Global Solutions Initiative, ASHOKA, Future Leaders, 4YFN (MWC), AIESEC, Amicif, Erasmus+ learning mobility for youth workers, Italian Diplomatic Academy, Waves of Democracy, and Model United Nations Community. A beneficiary of multiple scholarships, including, DAAD, The Ibn Battuta Merit Scholarship, Taiwanese Government Scholarship.
Currently, she is the co-founder of a social enterprise Applicaid (http://applicaid.org) and has a YouTube channel, Ninjanspiration (https://www.facebook.com/Ninjanspiration/), devoted to providing youths with educational funded opportunities, such as international conferences and study abroad programs.
