My name is Lisa and I am a 22-year-old European activist focused on ocean protection and youth engagement. I hold a dual degree in French and English law from Queen Mary University of London and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. As part of my President mandate of the European Youth Parliament Western France, I fork for the promotion of active citizenship and the inclusion of underprivileged youth in democratic processes. My commitment to European values also inspired me to become Young European Ambassador for the EU Neighbours East network, where I engaged in the topics of European identity and the challenges of European enlargement policies. My main areas of interest are the legal challenges of European integration, environmental protection and international security in maritime areas.
Besides activism, you will most likely find me with sandy toes and a tea-stained book with pages fluttering in the ocean wind. Or simply lost – in ideas, in corners of art museum or in a 2-hour scroll session through marathon reels, which I faithfully applaud from the comfort of my couch.

Challenges on European democracy talks always taste sweeter with seawater on the tongue, watermelon sticking to your fingers, starry nights to share with friends and the warmth welcome of the Marlene crew. You never know what amazing opportunity comes out of a 2-hour scroll session in Instagram!
