Abbas is a neuroscience student interested in research on human perception and psycopathologies relating to / resulting in distortion of perception. He had just finished his bachelors in psychology when he was aboard Marleen in summer of 2023. He is an avid reader of literature and philosophy speaking four languages. And recently started traveling extensively mainly for either some conference or Erasmus plus activities. Curious and adventurous by nature, he has recently found an interest in theater and would be pursuing more of it as extra-curricular going further. He plays cricket professionally for a club in Budapest.
“An experience I would love to have each year aboard Marleen, however, at the same time I would want people to experience something like this at least once in their lifetime. As the sea rocks the boat during these 10 days, so will it jitter from the inside shaking your beliefs about the world and yourself.”
