Day 7 – Sailing

We said goodbye to Kaş and began our journey to Kekova Bay in Turkey. Along the way, we spotted dolphins who were quite shy and kept their distance, but a few of us still had some great sightings. Milena was brilliant at spotting them and exceeded all our expectations with her animal-tracking skills.

We played reflective games that allowed us to bond even more and enjoyed our time sailing toward our penultimate stop.
Once we arrived, some of us went for a swim in what was described as “the worst swimming water so far” because it was so salty. Despite this, our ocean adventure in Kekova was truly special, as we were picked up by a tiny boat that came to meet us in the middle of the sea and whisked us away to the restaurant. Our ride there was nothing short of cinematic as we waved a temporary goodbye to our captain Andreas.

We enjoyed a great meal, and our night ended with an unforgettable performance by Andreas, whose songs and guitar playing made us all feel warm and grateful.
