Day 7 โ€“ Lamplight in the Midnight Yolk ๐ŸŒŠโ›ต๐ŸŒ

While daytime is most often the period that the Farmont project group enjoys the sailing, it is the night time that the true magic comes out. The stars finally reveal themselves out of the usual light pollution, islands descend into deep cobalt darkness and the water follows its now lunar counterpart by donning a more oily black appearance. It is between the bottom of the sky and surface of the water that silent discussions are made, including Leonardo’s presentation of “”. The horizon is covered by islands both close and far, but equally in the dark – our reality is split by a dark circle of forest and stone, separating the hard shell of the sky’s underside and the creamy yolk of the water waves below. We float in-between, for a scant few hours belonging to neither air or water, until the sun rises and the egg finally cracks. Tomorrow is a new day – but tonight, we see the same old stars in a new light.
