Day 5 – into the unknown
One thing the Kastellorizo island is known for is its blue cave. Once per day, the sunlight reflects on the sea and shines blue on the inside walls of a cave, which is so tiny that had the boat driver not stopped by it, we would not have never seen it. Swimming in blue light mirroring on the rocks above us will remain one of the most magical moment of the trip. On our way back, we stopped to Georges island for an Insta photo shoot and the presentation by Mattia on EU regulations of social platforms and freedom of speech. The rest of the day unfolded lazily under the Greek afternoon sun, with the visit to the museum, some shopping and the presentation by Ghizlan on biodiversity loss. We ended the day with the visit of the castle ruins and a plethora of local tasteful dishes.
