Day 4 – the flags were flying high

Today, the flags were flying high. Flags on a ship indicate the nationalities of those on board. This was the occasion for our crew to discuss the complexities of borders and the relevance of national anthems today. Upon arriving at the Kastellorizo island, only a few hundred meters from the Turkish coast, we went to swim with fishes and listen to Joshua’s moderated conversation on the theme of polarisation. At last, we joined the International Documentary Festival organised in the town. What a day ! And the next one promises to be even better with Milena’s surprise!
