5. Day – The smell of anger

The permanent sweet sent of sulfur

Reminds us how others suffer

The giant Polyvotis under our feet

Was remembering his tragic defeat

In his prison of stone

We left him all alone

On the beach we played volleyball

Which accidentally went over the wall

It hit a car on the street

It was time to retreat

We went to a cafe easy to reach

To listen to a pacifist’s speech

We talked about war and peace

And the path to make conflict cease

We went to the monastery uphill

And the scenery gave us a thrill

We ended the day in the troubled sea

In reality it was the best place to be !
